Dairy company A-ware is increasing the milk price again for August and the increase for the new month still exceeds the amount that FrieslandCampina allocated. In Belgium, the processor is increasing twice as much as last month.
In the Netherlands, the current milk price will be increased by €1,35 per 100 kilos to a basic price of €48,00 (for an annual supply of 1 million kilos and excluding VAT). This means that A-ware still remains below what FrieslandCampina pays out, but the distance is becoming smaller, as can be seen in de Boerenbusiness milk price comparator. The pasture milk price is also slightly lower, but A-ware's maximum milk price for August is higher than FrieslandCampina's maximum milk price. A-ware's weighted average payout price also remains well above FrieslandCampina's guaranteed price.

A-ware likes to compare this price with the guaranteed price, FrieslandCampina believes that this comparison is not justified.
Organic milk price
The organic milk price of A-ware will be increased by 76 cents to €59,26 per 100 kilos, which puts the price above the organic milk price of FrieslandCampina, but below that of Eko-Holland and Arla.
The Belgian milk price will be increased by €1,06 per 100 liters to €47,72 per 100 liters. This excludes premiums for sustainability and grazing.
In Belgium, A-ware is therefore leading according to the Belgian milk price comparator Boerenbusiness ahead of Arla, but slightly behind FrieslandCampina. The Belgian processors Milcobelo and LDA have not yet published August prices.
