LDA's milk price at legal Belgian contents has been increased by 75 cents to €43 per 100 liters. At real levels of 43 grams of fat and 35 grams of protein, this amounts to €46,81 per 100 liters. That is almost as much as FrieslandCampina pays to its suppliers in Belgium (€46,82).

In Belgian milk price calculator van Boerenbusiness Due to a technical problem, this is currently not clearly visible, because a volume premium for LDA is shown too low. It should be 91 cents instead of 51 cents.

The other four major players on the Belgian dairy market are close to the milk price paid by FrieslandCampina and LDA. Only Arla stands out a bit with a milk price of just under €46,00 per 100 liters.

Milk prices will increase further for August. With a milk price (excluding surcharges) of €48,07 per 100 liters, FrieslandCampina is the provisional leader. A-ware and Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods follow closely behind, both with a milk price (even without surcharges) of €47,72 per 100 liters. Milcobel has not yet announced a new milk price.
