FrieslandCampina is increasing the pace of price increases
FrieslandCampina is increasing the guaranteed price for conventional milk for September even more than last month. However, it is not only a market effect, but also a correction over the past period that pushes the price up further. The organic guarantee price is also rising, but more slowly.

The current guaranteed price for September will increase by a total of €1,75 to €51,00 per 100 kilos of milk. Last month, €1,25 was added compared to the previous month.
The increase is based on two factors: the expectation that competitor reference prices will rise further due to growing market demand and due to a positive correction for the recent period. The average guaranteed price for raw milk in 2024 up to and including September is €47,47 per 100 kilograms of milk.
The organic guarantee price for September will increase by €1,00 and rise to €59,00 per 100 kilos. This increase is also based on the expectation that reference prices will rise further due to growing market demand and a positive correction for the recent period.
The average guaranteed price for organic farm milk in 2024 up to and including September is €57,08 per 100 kilos of milk.
FrieslandCampina's basic milk price according to Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator the latest step increases to €50,16 per 100 kilos, the maximum milk price goes to €56,46 per 100 kilos. In Belgium the milk price goes according to the Belgian Milk Price Comparator to a basic price of €49,83 per 100 liters (for suppliers).
