Lactalis joins the battle for additional milk prices

Cheesemaker Lactalis Leerdammer is joining the ongoing battle for milk prices with its September milk price increase. And is adding more money than last month.

In this respect, Lactalis, like A-ware, outperforms FrieslandCampina, because Leerdammer has now added €1,82 per 100 kilos in total. According to de Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator the bare milk price is €49,92 per 100 kilos. The pasture milk price has gone up to €51,92 and the maximum milk price is €52,52 per 100 kilos.
This includes a 60 cent sustainability premium, which is paid afterwards. For extra large deliveries, from 100.000 kilos per month, Leerdammer pays an additional volume surcharge.
