Hochwald Foods peaks with milk price in August
Private dairy producer Hochwald Foods pays the highest bare milk price in the Netherlands for August, according to data from BoerenbusinessThe company is a subsidiary of the Hochwald cooperative in Germany and is based in Bolsward.

Compared to the previous month, Hochwald pays €1,00 per 100 kilos more for August, and the basic milk price amounts to €48,90. That is 20 cents more than the two highest paying companies to date, DOC Kaas and Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods. Hochwald suppliers can receive a maximum milk price of €51,40 per 100 kilos. This includes premiums for grazing and sustainability.
Hochwald Foods Bolsward mainly produces canned sweetened condensed milk and cream. It also produces dairy for Hochwald Germany. The company received permission at the beginning of this year to expand the location with an additional production hall.
