LDA milk price August just behind leader
The Walloon dairy cooperative LDA pays a basic milk price for August that is just behind that of frontrunner FrieslandCampina. In total, LDA received an additional €1,05 per 100 litres. In July, it was the highest payer in Belgium.

The milk processors in Belgium have increased the milk price in August by an average of €0,99 per 100 kilos. This shows that Belgian Milk Price Comparator Boerenbusiness (including Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods). Vreugdenhil increased the milk price by €1,30 per 100 litres and thus contributed the most. Arla increased by only €0,50. The basic milk price of LDA for August comes to €47,91 per 100 kilos. This is excluding the €0,80 sustainability premium.
The average milk price for September has so far been increased by the milk processors compared to August. The processors who have so far determined a milk price have gained an average of €1,97 per 100 litres on the milk price.
