FrieslandCampina is increasing the pace of price increases
FrieslandCampina is increasing the pace of milk price increases. For October, the regular milk price will be increased by 75 cents more than for September. The organic milk price will be increased by 50 cents more.

With the latest step, the current guaranteed price will be €53,50 per 100 kilos, which is €2,50 more than in October. The organic guaranteed price will increase to €60,50 per 100 kilos. According to FrieslandCampina, both increases are a result of a previously underestimated milk price, but also stem from the expectation that competitors will also increase their payout price further in October.
Dutch Milk price calculator
The basic milk price for conventional milk in the October basket comes according to the Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator out to €52,66. The maximum that can happen is €58,96. This is the price including all surcharges. In Belgium, the basic milk price comes out to €52,33 per 100 litres, according to the Belgian Milk Price Comparator on top of this there is an additional €1,75 in allowances to earn.
The organic milk price is €64,42 per 100 kilos. This includes seasonal surcharges.
