Cooperative Milcobel has made a catch-up effort with the October milk price. The Flemish company is increasing the (advance) milk price for the current month more than all competitors have done so far.
The milk price at the legal Belgian contents will be increased by a total of €3,00 to €48,50 per 100 litres. The actual paid milk price, at maximum allowances, will increase to a maximum of €53,05 per 100 litres, it is reported.
In Milk price comparator Boerenbusiness the milk price will increase by €3,17 per 100 litres to a total of €52,69. For comparison: A-ware increased by €2,92 per 100 litres, FrieslandCampina by €2,50.

According to Milcobel, the increase is possible thanks to a high price level on the dairy market as a whole. The Belgian dairy cooperative also benefits from this.
Milcobel also reports that it has now completed the autumn dialogue with the members and is working on the results. During the meetings, the milk price system and the current premium system were discussed, among other things. The responses received will be included in the delivery conditions for 2025.
