Dairy company A-ware is implementing a more modest milk price increase for November than in the previous few months, but still manages to maintain a high current milk price. Lactalis Leerdammer, however, surpasses that. In Belgium, A-ware's milk price is in a shared first place, together with that of FrieslandCampina for the suppliers.
The current milk price for November from A-ware for the Netherlands is increased by €1,10 per 100 kilos to a base of €54,85 per 100 kilos and a maximum of €61,60 per 100 kilos. With this last price, the company has set the highest milk price for this month so far.
Lactalis Leerdammer is increasing the current milk price for November by €2,64 per 100 kilos to €55,19 per 100 kilos, which means it currently has the highest basic and pasture milk price, according to de Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator.
In Belgium, the basic milk price of A-ware is according to the Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator by €1,06 up to €54,33 per 100 litres, which is the same as the comparable price that FrieslandCampina suppliers in Belgium receive. This price is currently the highest in Belgium for November.
