With a smaller increase than competitor FrieslandCampina, A-ware sets a higher December milk price. This is done via a higher fat price than in November and a December premium.
The total increase amounts to €1,75 per 100 kilos. Of that, €1,25 is accounted for by the milk fat. An amount of 50 cents comes from the December premium.
The bare milk price for December will be €56,57 per 100 kilos, the maximum milk price will increase to €63,32 per 100 kilos. On average over the entire year, A-ware will pay a bare milk price of €48,82 per 100 kilos and a maximum milk price of €55,57 (excluding VAT, at 1 million kilos).
FrieslandCampina lags behind with a bare milk price of €48,63 and a maximum of €53,63 per 100 kilos (see also the Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator. side note: the pasture premium cannot be stacked with Foqus planet and PlanetProof). FrieslandCampina has however promised a subsequent payment for 2024. This could still change the ratios.
The organic milk price of A-ware will increase by €3,25 per 100 kilos to €66,85. That is a substantial increase, but A-ware still lags behind Eko-Holland, Arla and FrieslandCampina with the mentioned price. See also the Boerenbusiness Organic Milk Price Comparison.
In Belgium, A-ware increases the milk price for December by €1,70 per 100 litres of milk. Of that, 50 cents is accounted for by the December premium, the remaining €1,20 comes from higher fat and protein prices.
According to the Belgian milk price comparator van Boerenbusiness the basic price of A-ware comes to €54,48 per 100 liters.
