Hochwald milk price seeks the middle ground
Hochwald Foods Nederland has increased the milk price for November, but less than most Dutch processors. Still, the bare milk price is exactly at the average of the 8 larger processors in the Netherlands.

Hochwald pays suppliers €2,01 more for November, according to the Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator. The bare milk price thus amounts to €54,44 per 100 kilos. With the help of grazing and sustainability premium, up to €2,70 per 100 kilos can be earned on top of that.

Hochwald Nederland specialises in the production of condensed and evaporated milk, but also produces long-life products for the German market.
Collaboration with FrieslandCampina
In mid-November, Hochwald and Frieslandcampina decided on a strategic cooperation for several years. The production of sweetened condensed milk from FrieslandCampina will be moved to Hochwald Bolsward from June 2026. In return, FrieslandCampina will produce condensed milk in Leeuwarden for the factory in Bolsward.
The idea is that both parties will benefit from this, and FrieslandCampina can close an outdated factory in Leeuwarden. Then about half of the current factory site there can be sold off.
