FrieslandCampina starts 2025 with lower milk price
FrieslandCampina takes a step back with the first milk price of the new year. The regular milk price drops a fraction more than the organic milk price. For the larger farmers, the pain is somewhat softened thanks to a new quantum surcharge.

The Guaranteed Price for January decreases by €1,35 per 100 kilos of milk compared to December. The decrease in price is based on the expectation that reference milk prices will decrease due to global market changes. The basic milk price in January will be €55,22 per 100 kilos.
The Integral Milk Price, which FrieslandCampina is setting as a new comparison standard, is also falling. Thanks in particular to the introduction of a volume surcharge of €0,50 per 100 kilos for volumes above 1,5 million kilos, it is falling less, by only €0,85 per 100 kilos.
Organic Guaranteed Price
The Organic Guaranteed Price for January decreases by €1,31 per 100 kilos of milk compared to December to €63,50. The decrease in this guaranteed price is also based on the expectation that the reference prices for organic milk will decrease as a result of market developments.
The integral organic milk price decreases by €2,81 to €68,58 per 100 kilos. This is mainly due to the adjustment (reduction) of the seasonal surcharge as of January.
