Hochwald Foods scores with basic milk price 2024
Hochwald Foods Nederland has increased the milk price for the month of December above average. That was also necessary in a way, to keep up with the payment prices of the other processors, but Hochwald did well over the whole year.

Thanks in particular to relatively high payout prices in the spring of 2024, Hochwald's basic milk price is on average high. According to the Milk Price Comparator Boerenbusiness the average basic price for the past year is €48,81 per 100 kilos. That is 9 cents more than Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods paid, and they are known as payers of a high basic milk price.
This makes up for the slightly lower basic milk price in December. With a total of €56,47 per 100 kilos (for an annual supply of 1 million kilos, excluding VAT and after deduction of the contribution for ZuivelNL), it is not the highest.
