24 January 2025 - Klaas van der Horst

Dairy group Emmi has had a good 2024, with a 2,4% higher turnover. This is mainly due to good commercial results in America and (even more) in Europe. Emmi mentions the positive figures in the Dutch goat dairy activities in particular.

The Swiss group is not yet providing very detailed figures, because only the global results have been announced. A profit result will also be announced at the end of February.

Total turnover rose last year from €4.470 million to over €4.582 million. Gross profit is expected to be between €311 and €332 million, or between 5% and 5,5% of turnover.

Switzerland is and remains Emmi's largest market with a turnover of €1.806 million. North and South America follow with €1.799 million, while Europe excluding Switzerland is good for €787 million. In these last turnover figures, the Dutch activities, in particular the Bettinehoeve, provided an important share, both with goat milk powder and goat cheese.
