The reduction for February is slightly smaller than the one set last month. In January, the milk price went down by €1,35, this time €1 is deducted from the milk price. The guaranteed price for February is €55 per 100 kilos, the integral milk price is €58,21.
The basic milk price as Boerenbusiness who calculates for conventional milk in the Netherlands (at 1 million kilos, excluding VAT and after deduction of contribution for ZuivelNL) comes to €54,16 per 100 kilos. In Belgium, the basic milk price for suppliers is according to the equation of Boerenbusiness out at €53,83 per 100 litres. That is also €1 lower than for January.
Organic milk price
The organic milk price remains unchanged in the meantime. This is also based on the expectation that the reference companies will not adjust their prices for organic farm milk, in line with the stable market developments in organic dairy.
In concrete terms, the organic guaranteed price will be €63,50 per 100 kilos, while the integral milk price will remain at €68,58 per 100 kilos.
