The DCA Indicative Price for brewers grains rises this week to €3,75 per percent dry matter. Demand is very close to supply. Some traders even notice that demand is a bit high for the current supply. Others call the market reasonably balanced. All in all, there is no need to look for customers to get rid of brewers grains.

The DCA Indicative Price for both wheat and barley straw increases to €180 per tonne. Traders report that it is difficult to obtain straw. Arable farmers are in no hurry to sell. The demand may be normal and not excessively high, but if it is difficult to obtain, traders will still adjust the price.

The DCA Indicative Price for silage maize increases to €90 per tonne delivered in the trench silo excluding shovel. Traders who can deliver are generally somewhat higher in price and notice that livestock farmers are somewhat reluctant to buy. Sharper purchasing is not easy because then sellers will not let go of the silage maize.

The DCA Indicative Price for grass seed hay takes a step back to €170 per tonne. It should be noted that there is hardly any trade. Sporadically a load is shipped and it is a bit of a priceless price. According to insiders, there is not much good grass seed hay. There is hardly any attention paid to the variety. It is just what is available. The DCA Indicative Price for meadow hay remains stable this week at €190 per tonne. The regular work continues without any peaks, traders indicate.

The DCA Indicative Price for relatively good silage grass remains stable this week at €80 per ton, although there is somewhat less supply of beautiful silage grass. Those who are satisfied with somewhat lower quality can find silage grass faster and at a more attractive price.

The DCA Indicative Price for feed potatoes remains stable at €50 per tonne. In general, there is little supply of feed potatoes. Most potatoes still go to the industry. If feed potatoes are available, it is often sorted seed potatoes. But that does not happen in loads at the same time.
