Slightly more modest than FrieslandCampina, but also A-ware lowers the milk price for February. Both companies assume a slightly cooling market. In doing so, they deviate from Arla, which has kept the milk price the same for three months in a row.
The Scandinavian dairy company also sees the market under some pressure. A-ware has decided to reduce the milk price for February by 90 cents (compared to FrieslandCampina, which is reducing it by €1,00). According to the Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator out to €54,41 per 100 kilos, while the pasture milk price comes out to €55,66 per 100 kilos. The maximum milk price (Better for) comes out to €61,16.
The 'Actual Milk Price' (WP) of A-ware also decreases by 90 cents and remains 23 cents above the 'Integral Milk Price' of FrieslandCampina. According to the processors, both milk prices provide an image of the average paid milk price.
The organic milk price of A-ware remains the same as in January at €65,35 per 100 kilos.
In Belgium, the so-called standard milk price has been reduced from €51,00 to €50,25 per 100 litres of milk. The milk price at real contents will decrease by 77 cents to €52,75 per 100 litres. This is excluding premiums for sustainability and footprint.
