Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods has lowered the payment price for regular milk for February, but remains at the top in terms of payment level, especially for pasture milk and the top stream Tomorrow's Dairy.
This is evident from a comparison of the milk price with that of other companies in the Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator.
The current milk price for the Netherlands drops by €0,98 per 100 kilos to a base price of €54,75, a price that is only surpassed by Arla for February. With the pasture milk price and with the top stream Tomorrow's Dairy, Vreugdenhil is currently the frontrunner.
The organic milk price of Vreugdenhil remains the same at €63,35 per 100 kilos. With that price, the company is being overtaken by the other companies in the Boerenbusiness Organic Milk price comparator.
In Belgium, the current milk price drops by €0,96 to €53,39 per 100 litres. This means it has to let FrieslandCampina and Arla go first.
