Hochwald Foods maintains highest basic price
Hochwald Foods in Bolsward has, like almost all dairy companies in the Netherlands, lowered the milk price for February. However, the company is maintaining the highest base price, just like in January.

The company determines the milk price last in a month, in this case one week after the month in question has ended.
The average (basic) milk price of the eight companies in the Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator amounted to €54,18 in February. Hochwald stood out with a base price of €55,48. This price is €0,99 less than was paid in January.

Hochwald may have a high basic milk price, the maximum milk price is currently 'only' €2,70 per 100 kilos higher. However, Hochwald has indicated that it will soon introduce a climate premium, which could increase the total allowance further.
