Coöperatie Laiterie des Ardennes, the largest dairy processor in Belgium, is keeping its advance milk price for February stable for the fourth time in a row. This means it is once again paying more than competitors who have reduced their prices in recent months.
The basic milk price for February remains at €52,67 per 100 litres, with an annual supply of 1,3 million litres per year. This amount has been stable since November last year.
In December, a one-off bonus of €1,00 was given on top of all litres delivered in 2024. This distorts the picture a bit. The basic payment has remained unchanged, however.
LDA is currently paying an above-average milk price, as is also evident from the Boerenbusiness Belgian Milk Price Comparator.
On top of the basic milk price, up to €0,95 in additional payments can be received for grazing and sustainability.
