This is reported by DMK in a short message with preliminary results for the past year. CEO Ingo Müller is particularly proud of the fact that the cooperative has once again achieved a truly competitive milk price. The average payout price was €47,31 per 100 kilos, with 4,1% fat and 3,5% protein. That is considerably more than the milk price for 2023. That remained stuck at €41,10 per 100 kilos.

Net profit rose from €13,2 million to €24,6 million. Total turnover, however, fell from €5,6 billion to €5,1 billion. The improved course of business is not only reflected in the operating result, but also in solvency, which rose from 34,7% to 35,4%. DMK does not make any statements about the processed milk volume, but the figures suggest that this has fallen.

DMK is also optimistic about the current year. In this context, the company refers to the milk price it can pay as of March: €55,29 per 100 kilos. This is the milk price for the top milk flow.
