Arla Foods is keeping the current milk price the same for April again. This is the fifth consecutive time. However, the price is not completely unchanged. This is due to small exchange rate fluctuations. The organic milk price is rising slightly.
For the Netherlands, the basic price for conventional milk at Arla is €53,19 per 100 kilos, according to the Boerenbusiness common milk price comparator. That is 5 cents more than the usual milk price for March. The maximum milk price is €59,19 per 100 kilos. That is €1,05 per 100 kilos more than last month. The reason for this increase is the increase of the Better for Nature & Farmer premium from €5,00 to €6,00 per 100 kilos.
For Belgium, the basic milk price of Arla goes to €51,66 per 100 liters. That is 9 cents more than last month. A maximum of €55,76 per 100 liters can be received for Vlog, climate and sustainability, according to the Belgian Milk Price Comparator van Boerenbusiness .
Arla's advance price for conventional milk will remain unchanged from April 2025. However, the quarterly exchange rate adjustment has a positive effect on the advance price in euros by 0,10 euro cents per kilo. This means that the advance price for conventional milk is 54,39 cents per kilo and 64,99 cents per kilo for organic milk.
The organic milk price for April in the Netherlands increases by 60 cents per 100 litres to €67,93 per 100 litres. This puts Arla at a record high, even though the increase for organic milk is smaller than for conventional milk.
