Dairy company Royal A-ware is increasing its milk price for April, following the example of FrieslandCampina. A-ware's basic milk price will increase by €1,30, slightly less than that of its competitor from Amersfoort, but the basic price will still be slightly higher. In Belgium, the increase is greater.
In addition to the basic price, the Better for Nature & Farmer surcharge will also increase in the Netherlands on April 1 by €1,00 per 100 kilos to €6,00 per 100 kilos. This will happen to all participants in the Better for program, such as Arla, DeltaMilk and Farmel.
According to the Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator the basic price for regular milk at A-ware will be €54,56. The pasture milk price will go to €55,81 and the maximum milk price will be €61,81 per 100 kilos.
The organic milk price will be increased by €1,00 to €65,20 per 100 kilos. This puts A-ware in the middle between Arla and FrieslandCampina, as shown by the Boerenbusiness Organic Milk Price Comparator.
In Belgium, the milk price of A-ware increases the most and gets an increase of €2,31 per 100 liters. This brings the basic price to €54,03 with an annual supply of 1,3 million liters. According to the Boerenbusiness Belgian Milk Price Comparison Tool A-ware has set a provisional highest basic price for the new month.
