The Dutch milk supply has increased considerably in March compared to February. The daily supply was 651 tonnes higher in March, and in kilos of milk is not much behind the same month last year.
According to the latest figures from RVO, 1,5% less milk was supplied in March than a year earlier. Calculated in terms of content, the difference is even smaller, because only 0,4% less fat was supplied. This also means that the fat content was higher than last year.
The improved weather of the previous month undoubtedly played a role, although there was no fresh grass for the cows, but the higher temperature and better weather certainly played a role.

The above lines show that the dairy industry has moved away from the very low supply level of the first two months of this year, but that there is still a slightly below-average supply.
