Eko-Holland increases the organic milk price for the third time in a row by €1,00 per 100 kilos. The biodynamic milk price is also being increased. The cooperative is following the example of FrieslandCampina.
The two largest collectors of organic milk in the Netherlands remain close to each other in terms of price. Eko-Holland has increased the organic milk price by €1,00 to €68,05 per 100 kilos. FrieslandCampina increased the organic guaranteed price earlier this week to €67,00 per 100 kilos.
Eko-Holland does pay more on a monthly basis than FrieslandCampina, but the milk prices of the two cooperatives have been at a fixed distance in recent months.
The prices in the graph are shown without seasonal discounts and surcharges. At FrieslandCampina, these are calculated directly. At Eko-Holland, settlement takes place afterwards, at the end of the year.
The biodynamic milk price of Eko-Holland will also increase by €1,00 per 100 kilos for May, to €73,05 per 100 kilos.
The other processors of organic milk in the Netherlands have not yet determined a milk price for May. For a price comparison, see the Boerenbusiness organic milk price comparator.
