The Greek Fage has seen its yoghurt sales in the United Kingdom rise sharply last year. The company reports this in its recently filed annual report. Fage UK is part of Fage International, which also wants to build in the Netherlands.
According to the annual report, turnover rose 45% from £49,6m in 2023 to £71,9m last year. Operating profit rose from £496.000 to £719.000.
The company is satisfied with the results achieved. Responsible director Rober Shea indicates that the company is active in an extremely competitive market, where it is a fight for a place on the supermarket shelf and consumers are critical. Nevertheless, it managed to achieve good results.
Net profit increased from £374.000 in 2023 to £539.000 in 2024.
