Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods has recovered in 2024 from the disappointing result in 2023. Turnover picked up again and net black figures were presented again. A competitive milk price was also achieved.
Turnover rose slightly from €1,03 billion to €1,06 billion, while net profit rose from €15 million negative to €13,7 million positive. Investments continued in the meantime. In total, Vreugdenhil invested more than €15 million, with a view to a more sustainable and efficient production process. Last year, the former production location in Voorthuizen was also sold. 129 apartments are now being built there.
The year 2024 was also the year that a refinancing was concluded. This gave the company more room to invest strategically in energy transition. The new agreement runs for 5 years, but can be extended twice for 2 years.
