Plus for Eko-Holland and Leerdammer, Cono equal

June 4, 2025 - Klaas van der Horst

While Cono increases the milk price for May by more than €1, Eko-Holland and Leerdammer are taking it easier for June. This is in line with what other dairy processors in the Netherlands are doing. The June prices are rising less rapidly than those for May.

Apart from Arla, almost all dairy companies have increased their milk prices for May by roughly €1 or more per 100 kilos. Cono is now marking time after the increase of €1,08 in April. The weighted average payout price remains at €58,00 per 100 kilos. Members can receive a maximum of €61,31 per 100 kilos.

This means that Cono's basic milk price is below FrieslandCampina's, but the maximum milk price is higher than that of its major Amersfoort competitor.

For the following month, June, Lactalis Leerdammer has increased the milk price by 20 cents per 100 kilos. That is more than Arla, which has kept the milk price stable for the seventh month in a row, but less than FrieslandCampina and A-ware did, as can be seen from de Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator

Organic supplier cooperative Eko-Holland has increased milk prices for June by 60 cents per 100 kilos.

Eko-Holland is thus following the line that Arla is following for June, but is higher in the market than the other competitors for this month.
