The latter company has been using a constant milk price since March. This is €54,97 per 100 kilos as a base price, rising to €57,97 per 100 kilos. Hochwald now occupies a relative middle position, as is evident from the Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculatorIn March, Hochwald's milk price was still one of the highest in the Netherlands, but other processors have continued to increase, with the exception of Arla, which has been using the same price for seven months in a row (with small fluctuations due to exchange rate differences between the euro and the Danish krone).

Milcobel increases the milk price for June by 25 cents per 100 liters (by 26 cents according to the Boerenbusiness Belgian Milk Price Comparator). This brings the basic price for a delivery of 1,3 million litres per year to €53,22 per 100 litres. This excludes a bonus of €1,00 per 100 litres for sustainability.

The current increase is the smallest since March, but the board of directors still considers it good to implement an increase. It is noted that the prices for dairy products are currently quite stable, also for mozzarella, which is a very important product for Milcobel.

The price for this type of cheese has increased considerably in recent years, which probably leaves room for a better milk price. "Based on the current results and further market assessment, the Board of Directors is increasing the milk price for June 2025 by 25 cents per 100 litres," the company reports.
