DOC Cheese keeps milk price the same again for June
DOC Kaas keeps the (advance) milk price for June the same as for May and April. The company and parent company DMK are following the example of intended merger partner Arla.

However, DOC Kaas and DMK have kept the milk price the same for the third time, while Arla has been able to maintain it for much longer: for the seventh month in a row.
With a base price of €55,17 per 100 kilos, DOC Kaas is not yet a straggler. The company pays a good average price. With the maximum milk price of €62,17 per 100 kilos for the participants in the 'Suurlijk' top line, it only has to tolerate A-Ware ahead of it, as can be seen in de Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator.
Compared to Arla, DOC Kaas still stands out favourably in terms of payment of milk money, although the arrangements differ per company. There may also be no question of coordination on milk prices and the like. Arla and DMK want to merge, but they certainly cannot anticipate this yet. Something like this would only be possible after approval by the competition authorities.
