Cheesemaker Lactalis Leerdammer follows the example of FrieslandCampina and Arla and keeps the milk price for July the same as last month. There seems to be a broader flattening in terms of payout prices.
With a bare milk price of €55,54 per 100 kilos (for an annual supply of 1 million kilos, excluding VAT and after deduction of the contribution for ZuivelNL), Lactalis remains slightly below FrieslandCampina in terms of basic price. However, in terms of pasture milk price, the cheesemaker is above it, as can also be seen in the Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator. Lactalis Leerdammer also has more generous quantum regulations for large dairy farmers, but the company does not have any top milk flows.
On average up to and including July, so over the first seven months of this year, Lactalis Leerdammer pays a barely lower basic milk price than FrieslandCampina, because at Dutch standard contents there is only a difference in price of 3 cents per 100 kilos.
