Dairy company A-ware is lowering its standard milk price for August, as FrieslandCampina has done. Both companies are arriving at a more or less identical base price, but A-ware continues to pay more, particularly for the highest additional flows. Meanwhile, Eko-Holland is raising its organic milk price slightly.
The price that A-ware pays for conventional milk in Belgium has been kept the same and therefore remains at the top for the time being.
The price for organic milk in the Netherlands also remains the same.
For regular milk without extras, both FrieslandCampina and A-ware pay almost the same, because both come according to calculation of Boerenbusiness at €55,41 per 100 kilos. FrieslandCampina reduced the price by 50 cents per 100 kilos, and A-ware by 75 cents.
However, for the top milk flows, A-ware continues to pay significantly more than FrieslandCampina, namely €62,41 compared to €60,41 per 100 kilos, and A-ware has a relatively high percentage of suppliers who participate in a top milk flow.
Belgium
In Belgium, A-ware is keeping the current milk price the same as last month, and for the time being, it continues to pay the highest price there generously.

The price for organic milk in the Netherlands will also remain the same this month. With this price, A-ware isn't a frontrunner. Most other processors pay more.

Eco-Holland
Cooperative Eko-Holland, the market leader in organic milk in the Netherlands, has also set a milk price for August. It will actually increase slightly. For regular organic milk, Eko-Holland pays €1 per 69,05 kilos for an annual supply of 100 million kilos.
