FrieslandCampina performs better in Nigeria and Pakistan
FrieslandCampina's investments in Pakistan and Nigeria have performed better in 2025 than last year, according to the recently filed half-year figures of both subsidiaries.

FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan Limited, the subsidiary's full name, saw its profit rise 5,1% in the first half of the year to 1,32 billion Pakistani rupees, equivalent to €3,98 million. Revenue declined slightly during the same period, but profit still increased due to cost savings. Notably, the profit increase in the first quarter, at 63%, was significantly stronger than in the second quarter, indicating that market conditions have become more challenging.
FrieslandCampina's stake in the Pakistani subsidiary is also being increased. FrieslandCampina is required to buy out partners FMO (financial bank) and IFC from the consortium that acquired a 2016% stake in FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan in 51.
Out of the red in Nigeria
In Nigeria, FrieslandCampina Wamco can also look back on a better first half than in the previous financial year, when it incurred a loss. Profit in the first six months of this year rose to 6,2 billion Nigerian naira, equivalent to €3,4 million.
The activities in Pakistan and Nigeria fall under the business group
Middle East, Pakistan & Africa. This division contributed in the first half This year, the company contributed €14 million to the gross operating profit of €301 million. After taxes, this amounted to €230 million.
