The Belgian dairy cooperative Laiterie des Ardennes (LDA) has appointed a successor to recently departed CEO Louis Ska. Chief Financial Officer Benoît Hoscheit has moved up the pecking order and becomes CEO. Geoffrey Paulus has been appointed CEO of subsidiary Solarec.
Earlier this month, LDA announced Ska's departure after a difference of opinion. With the to appoint His successor, Hoscheit, will be someone who knows the cooperative inside and out. He has been with LDA for twenty years and is responsible for all cooperative affairs.
Solarec, in which LDA is the majority shareholder, will be led by Geoffrey Paulus in the coming years. Patrick Georges has also been appointed industrial director of the group.
With the new appointments, the Board of Directors expects to be back at full strength.
