The total reduction for October amounts to €2,67 per 100 kilos, with the basic price according to the Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator amounts to €51,94 per 100 kilos. This is the price for an annual supply of 1 million kilos, excluding VAT, and after deducting the contribution to ZuivelNL. This price puts Leerdammer in the middle of the pack compared to the aforementioned rivals.
The maximum milk price for that volume is €55,14 per 100 kilos. Dairy farmers with an annual supply of 100.000 kilos or more per month can receive an additional 80 cents per 100 kilos through a higher volume premium. Leerdammer doesn't have a premium milk flow, but it does offer premiums for sustainability and grazing.
Lactalis Leerdammer itself reports a milk price of €53,90 per 100 kilos (excluding VAT) for October. This is based on 4,45% fat and 3,58% protein, and an annual supply of 1 million kilos of milk, including a quality premium of €0,50 and a pasture premium of €2,00 per 100 kilos.
