Dairy company Royal A-ware is significantly lowering its standard milk price for November, following FrieslandCampina, and is going even further. One milk product remains exempt: organic milk. This price will increase by €1,00 per 100 kilos.
In the Netherlands, the current milk price for A-ware for November will be €7,50 per 100 kilos lower, dropping to a base price of €44,36 per 100 kilos. This is 80 cents below FrieslandCampina's base price. The maximum milk price will still be €51,36 per 100 kilos, meaning it will pay €1,20 more than what FrieslandCampina can offer. However, this is slightly less than the maximum milk price Arla pays for November, as also shown in the Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator.
A-ware's weighted average milk price - the 'actual price' - falls to €48,39 per 100 kilos.
