In basic milk price comparator A-ware is currently in third place for December, just behind FrieslandCampina and Arla, which also lowered their milk prices. Despite the drop, A-ware has temporarily overtaken Arla as the top milk price comparison tool.

For the entire year of 2025, A-ware paid an average milk price (excluding premiums) of €52,88 per 100 kilos, which is €0,01 more than FrieslandCampina. In cycling terms, it would almost take a photo finish to determine the minimal difference.

The dairy market is still high at the beginning of December under pressureThe raw material value of milk is often below €40 per 100 kilos, according to data from DCA Market Intelligence. This means that further reductions in the milk price in the Netherlands are likely in January.

Belgium
The payout price for suppliers in Belgium and the southwest of the Netherlands is falling more sharply, by €3,08 to €40,68 per 100 kilos. This is calculated based on an annual supply of 1,3 million kilos. Also in Belgium milk price comparator A-ware must give FrieslandCampina and Arla precedence. A-ware did, however, pay the best basic milk price in Belgium over the entire 2025 period.
