Hochwald Foods is lowering its milk price for November by almost €5 per 100 kilos, but will continue to pay the highest base price for this month. The company will also continue to pay the highest base price through November, according to the Boerenbusiness current milk price comparator leader in terms of basic milk price.
For November, a total of €4,99 will be deducted from the milk price, bringing the base price for 1 million kilos to €47,98 per 100 kilos. Including all surcharges, Hochwald Foods' maximum milk price is €51,68 per 100 kilos.
This year, through November, Hochwald Foods also pays the highest base price: €54,34 per 100 kilos. That's €2,38 per 100 kilos more than the lowest payer.
Hochwald Foods Netherlands only pays the milk price on a monthly basis. There is no supplementary payment. Parent company Hochwald Foods Germany is a cooperative and does pay supplementary payments to its German members. Hochwald Foods Netherlands is a private subsidiary, not a cooperative, and therefore only has suppliers.
