Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods is again lowering its standard milk price for December, but by around €1,50 per 100 kilos. This is a relatively modest increase, both compared to November and the steps taken by other processors.
For conventional milk in the Netherlands, the price is determined according to the Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator reduced by €1,51 to a basic level of €41,58 per 100 kilos.
This brings the average base price for the entire year to €51,93 per 100 kilos. This makes sense, as more than €53,00 per 100 kilos was still being paid out through September.
The organic milk price for December remains the same as for November. The price has also remained stable for the sixth consecutive month at €67,56 per 100 kilos.
These prices apply to an annual supply of 1 million kilos, are exclusive of VAT and after deduction of contributions for ZuivelNL.
The milk price for Belgian livestock farmers will be reduced by €1,46 to a basic level of €40,59 per 100 liters, according to de Boerenbusiness Belgian Milk Price Comparator On average, over the entire year, the base price for Vreugdenhil in Belgium is €50,63 per 100 liters.
This price applies to actual fat and protein contents of 4,3% fat and 3,5% protein respectively, with an annual supply of 1,3 million litres.
