In total, DOC Kaas is lowering its milk price for January by €2,11 per 100 kilos. This is less than its competitors'. This reduction brings the base price to €38,41 per 100 kilos.
This price applies to annual deliveries of 1 million kilos and new standard contents of 4,49% fat and 3,57% protein. The maximum profit per 100 kilos is €45,41. This applies to the top group of Tuurlijk farmers. They must also meet stricter requirements than those who opt for the basic price.
Although DOC Kaas is currently the lowest payer for January with the stated basic price, Milk price comparator Boerenbusiness, yet it's noticeable that the differences are small. With a base price of €38,93, Lactalis Leerdammer is the leader for January, thanks to a price difference of just over 50 cents per 100 kilos.
