Marit van Egmond becomes commissioner at A-ware
Marit van Egmond, former CEO of Albert Heijn, has joined the supervisory board of dairy company A-ware. Van Egmond combines this with a supervisory role at Albert Heijn, among other things.

Jan Anker, Chairman of the A-ware Board of Directors, is delighted. "We are very pleased to welcome Marit to our Supervisory Board. Her extensive knowledge and experience strengthen our board. Albert Heijn and Royal A-ware have a long-standing business partnership. The "Better Forward" program was also developed under Van Egmont's leadership.
Other members of the Supervisory Board are: Bas Alblas (Chairman, former CEO of Lamb Weston/Meijer), Peter Bouter (former owner of the Bouter Group), Fanja Pon (President of Pon and URUS) and Carolina Wielinga (of NX Filtration and Gasunie, among others).
