Leerdammer remains at the top in milk price comparison

The base milk price will decrease by €0,39 to €38,54 per 100 kilos. Including the maximum bonuses, the payout price this month could rise to €41,74 per 100 kilos. This is based on an annual supply of 1 million kilos and the standard fat and protein contents.

In the Milk Price Comparison, Lactalis Leerdammer led the way in January for the basic milk price, and it's likely to maintain that position in February. This wasn't the case for 2025 as a whole, and the processor fell into the middle group. The last time Lactalis Leerdammer topped the charts was in December 2024. Including the pasture premium, Lactalis Leerdammer is currently the only processor with a milk price above €40 per 100 kilos this month.
However, the Maximum Milk Price Comparison tool paints a different picture, as Lactalis Leerdammer doesn't have a top milk flow. At €41,74 per 100 kilos, the processor ranks at the bottom of this comparison.
