Eko Holland has lowered its milk price for March. The supplier cooperative is thus losing ground in the organic milk price comparison tool. Boerenbusiness.
In March, the milk price will drop by €1,25 to €67,80 per 100 kilos. This is based on an annual supply of 1 million kilos, with 4,49% fat and 3,57% protein. Additional premiums can be earned on top of this. Dairy farmers producing according to biodynamic standards can expect a payout price of €72,75 per 100 kilos.
With the decline in March, Eko-Holland's milk price falls below that of A-ware in the organic Dutch Milk price calculator, which kept the milk price stable. FrieslandCampina and Arla both also implemented reductions.
