Due to the increase of a total of €3,00 per 100 kilos, the base price for a milk delivery of 1 million kilos per year amounts to €39,92. The maximum milk price rises to €47,42 per 100 kilos. With the base price, A-ware lags slightly behind FrieslandCampina, but with the maximum milk price, the company ends up €1,76 higher, according to the Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculatorThe weighted average price, the WP, goes to €44,09 per 100 kilos.

The increase is a result of the rapidly turning dairy market. Both cheese and milk and whey powder prices have risen sharply in recent weeks. Milk fat performance is slightly more variable.

While the conventional milk price is being increased significantly, A-ware is keeping the organic milk price stable. Unlike a number of competitors, A-ware does not apply seasonal premiums and surcharges. At a number of cooperatives, these are currently declining, which naturally also affects the payout price. According to the Boerenbusiness Organic Milk Price Comparator A-ware's organic milk price is close behind that of frontrunner Arla.
