The guaranteed price increases by €0,25 to €41,75 per 100 kilos. In the Dutch Milk price calculator van Boerenbusiness The milk price comes in at €40,91 per 100 kilos. This makes the increase considerably smaller than last month, when it was raised by €2,50. In recent weeks, sentiment in the dairy market has clearly shifted, with rapidly falling milk fat prices and a cheese market that is also under pressure.

The milk powder market is still managing to gain ground, but on balance, the raw material value of milk is under pressure. FrieslandCampina does not expect the reference companies to further increase payout prices next month, the cooperative dairy group indicates.

If that expectation is met, FrieslandCampina will continue to score high in the Milk Price Comparison Tool of BoerenbusinessIn April, they are provisionally in first place, although the milk prices of Cono and Hochwald are not yet known. These companies could still overtake FrieslandCampina.

Organic Guaranteed Price
The organic Guaranteed Price remains unchanged in May at €61,75 per 100 kilos. FrieslandCampina indicates a downward trend in the organic market and expects lower payout prices from the reference companies. The fact that the organic Guaranteed Price is not falling is due to a positive correction being applied for underestimated payout prices in April.

The organic milk price for an annual delivery of 1 million kilos comes, according to the organic milk price comparator van Boerenbusiness comes out to €57,67 per 100 kilos. A seasonal discount is included in this price.
