Manure prices have fallen slightly this week, because the weather conditions make spreading possible. The collection contributions that pig farmers pay to get rid of their manure in the spring has never been this high.
Pig manure in the central and south regions has fallen by 80 cents to one euro to an average of 24,25 euros per cubic meter of fattening pig manure. Poultry manure has fallen by approximately 60 cents per cubic meter compared to last week. On average, a cubic meter of poultry manure costs more than 15 euros.
Cattle farmers pay less
Cattle farmers are also paying less this week to get rid of their manure. Prices for cattle slurry in the Central and South regions fell by 1 to 16,8 euros per cubic meter to 18,17 euros per cubic meter in the South region and XNUMX euros per cubic meter in the Central region.
The fall in cattle manure prices is sharper than pig manure, because intermediaries and contractors started spreading cattle slurry on grassland this week. Arable land is often still too wet to drive on.
