Livestock farmers offer plenty of manure and arable farmers ask for manure, but there is no question of a smooth market. This is because there are too few logistical resources available to get the manure to the arable farmer.
The collection contributions from livestock farmers this week, compared to last week, have not decreased. This is due to various factors.
Manure sales prices for pig farmers
Manure sales prices for pig farmers are virtually unchanged. Just like last week, the average price for the middle region is 23,67 euros per cubic meter. For the South region, the price has fallen by 17 cents per cubic meter.
The cattle prices
The cattle prices have hardly changed either. Cattle farmers in the central region pay 17,17 euros per cubic meter. That is 23 cents less than last week. In the south region 16,40 euros per cubic meter. This is a dime less than last week.
