Prices for cattle slurry have risen sharply. Compared to week 35, the price increased by €1 to €2,50 per tonne. Collection contributions rose fastest in the south region, with the Tilburg region as an outlier. There the price rose by €2,50 to €19,50 per tonne.

In the Deurne region, the price rose by €2 to €18,50 per tonne. In the other southern region, Uden, collection contributions increased by €1 to €17,50 per tonne.

Reason for the price increase?
The reason for the increase is that there is an unexpectedly large supply of cattle slurry and the sales space is minimal.

Price in euros per ton based on the DCA fertilizer quotation.

Prices in the middle region stable
In the central region, collection contributions did not rise nearly as fast as in the southern region. Only in Barneveld did the price increase by €1 to €16,50 per tonne. In Markelo the price remains the same at €15 per tonne. In Lichtenvoorde the price dropped by €0,50 to €16,50 per tonne.

Pig manure also on the rise
Pig manure prices also rose in the south region, but less rapidly than cattle liquid manure prices. Prices increased by €0,50 in Deurne, reaching €24,50 per tonne. The price in Tilburg therefore came to €23 per tonne and in Uden the price rose by €1 to €24 per tonne.
