The manure market seems to be awakening very carefully from its hibernation in week 6. Manure is spread out little by little, but that is mainly out of necessity. The first price drops have been noted.
The collection contributions for pig and cattle slurry are virtually unchanged in week 6 compared to last week. Only in the manure districts Uden and Barneveld do prices drop by €0,50. This means that the Deurne region remains the most expensive to dispose of manure.
Pig farmers in that region pay €26 per cubic meter. In the other southern regions the costs are €1 per cubic meter lower. In the central region, prices are between €24 and €24,50 per cubic meter of pig slurry.

The price of pig slurry has shown a slight decrease in the south.
Cattle Slurry
The collection contributions for cattle slurry are mainly unchanged. A decrease can only be seen in the Barneveld region. There the price dropped by €0,50 to €19 per cubic meter. The manure is the most expensive in the south region, where prices fluctuate between €20 and €20,50 per cubic meter. In Markelo the manure is the cheapest, at €17 per cubic meter.

The price of cattle slurry is also showing a decline in some regions.
Currently, only a small amount of manure is spread. This has everything to do with the wet land and the frost. These conditions will continue for a while and the expectation is that the market will not really open up until mid-March.
