Fertilizer prices show serious decline

Pig and cattle slurry collection fees have fallen for the first time in weeks. This is apparent from the DCA listing for manure.

Pig farmers who want to get rid of their manure can do so for less money for the first time from this week (week 10). Collection contributions fell this week by €0,50 to €1 per cubic meter of fattening pig slurry. This brings the average in the south to €25. That is €0,50 less than last week. In the Central manure region the decrease is less significant (-€0,33 per cubic meter to €24).

For the first time in weeks, the collection contributions for fattening pig slurry have fallen. 

Cattle Slurry
The price of cattle slurry is falling faster on average in the south than the price of pig slurry. In the South region the price drops by €1 to €18,33. In the Central region, however, the average price rises slightly to €18,67. Last week that was barely €0,20 less.Cattle slurry is quickly becoming cheaper in the south of the country.
